![]() Knowing this stat is not necessary and was not intended to be known. You could still make it work in the game. For example, you would never know that Emilia was the "worst" with guns without extensive testing over many hours, but it wouldn't really matter. I think there is also an issue of getting too much advice from people. I don't think you really need to worry too much about Emilia's quest like that unless you got stuck in the final dungeon too early or something. If the next main scenario is too difficult, I suppose you could start over. Look for better equipment in areas also, even if you need to avoid some enemies. Get a full party and dabble in areas that feel like they are at your level. Try the main scenario again and then try sidequests a bit later. I would recommend trying to just go with the flow and try things. I feel like if I stuck to the main scenario I'd enjoy it more but I feel like I'll be too low stats & gear if I do that.Ĭlick to shrink.I noticed you seem a bit nervous about what to do. Always end up feeling frustrated and not having fun. I've given every Saga game a chance and never made it past about this far with any of them for the same reason. I don't know what I'm doing and I'm getting frustrated. I feel like I may need to restart this Emelia run (around 3-4 hours now) and just follow a walkthrough. It seems like the whole game outside story scenarios is just collecting magic gifts for all the different types of magic? Seems like that's what you get for each optional dungeon. I feel like every side boss I'm encountering is beyond my stats/gear and I can't do them. I did the really long dungeon cave at the bottom of the Koorigan sewers ending with the spider that fully heals everyone each turn and stomp one-shots a character per turn. There's no item to warp out of a dungeon, right? I feel like you can get stuck deep in a dungeon with no WP/JP left and can't survive getting back out. ![]() What weapon should I be using for Emelia then? The grammar and syntax are fine, but their word choice is positively baffling compared to the entire rest of the SaGa series and the original SaGa Frontier. Her character art is using a gun so I thought I'd make her a gun character. ![]() The sole gripe with this game is most likely the localization- yes, localization, rather than translation, as some skills and items seem to have been renamed by an executive who threw random phrases at a dartboard and watched what stuck. ![]() However, if you are willing to give an older game a go, but with updated graphics and a better hand holding checklist for plot points? This is your go-to. If you don't enjoy arcane and confusing systems that are obtuse to a high degree, then this game may well be a source of extreme frustration for you. From easy glitches to hard to understand value overflows, this remake of SaGa Frontier is both loyal to the original and a breath of fresh air! The game itself, however, is still SaGa Frontier. From easy glitches to hard to understand He classic SaGa Frontier experience with all the exploits you love and none of the bugs you don't.
